Jack Davenport Sweeping Services, Inc. operates PM-10 certified street sweepers. This means that they can pick up particulate matter as minute as 10 microns per million in diameter. To give you an idea of just how tiny that is, a human hair is 40-120 microns in diameter. We insist on procuring the latest technology in our field to ensure that we are doing all that we can to protect the environment.

Our street sweepers are in compliance with the strict air quality regulations mandated by the California Air Resources Board (CARB). Our PM-10 street sweepers are certified by CARB and the EPA as "Tier 4", the highest rating possible. The engines on our sweepers are fitted with components that restrict the emission of noxious gasses. We are currently in the process of upgrading and updating our fleet to meet the latest CARB diesel particulate matter regulations.
